Dr. Lucy Li is running for re-election to the BoE. She has been an unwavering voice of reason for student achievement, parents inclusion and involvement, education excellence for all students, responsible spending and oversight, enriching students experience and opportunities through existing and optimizing curriculum and extracurricular programs, to provide a practical and well rounded education for all students, using common sense, data driven, and evidence based approach, listening to feedback from community and families.

Dr. Ketrin Maxwell, a wife and mother, well regarded scholar, mental health professional, is a former member of the state licensing board for family and marriage therapy. She has been an active member in community service and volunteer work. She will bring unique contributions to the board with her professional background and expertise, particularly in mental health in educational settings and counseling.

Mrs. Deanna Nye is a wife and mother, advocate and community leader, who cares so much about students and families. With strong leadership and initiative, she co-founded a nonprofit organization that supports all learners and empowers families across the state. Through this work, she helped elevate the voices of parents and students who too often go unheard, especially those with special needs or unique learning circumstances. She will help our district to better serve every student and all students.
